FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is your corkage policy?
We warmly welcome guests who wish to bring a special bottle from their personal collection. Our corkage fee is $50 per 750ml bottle, with a maximum of two bottles per table. We kindly ask that any wine brought in is not currently featured on our wine list.

Do you offer valet?
Yes. Valet parking is available for all Boka guests. The valet stand is conveniently located on Halsted Street, directly in front of the restaurant’s main entrance. The service is $19 for the first four hours.

Is there a dress code?
We do not have a formal dress code. We encourage guests to dine with us in whatever attire makes them feel most comfortable.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Our culinary team can accommodate most common allergies and dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan diets, as well as gluten, dairy, and nut allergies. Please note any restrictions when making your reservation so we can prepare for your visit accordingly.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?
Reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance by phone or via OpenTable. We encourage planning ahead to secure your preferred date and time.

Do you accept walk-ins?
Reservations are strongly recommended for both the dining room and bar. However, we do our best to welcome walk-in guests whenever space allows.

Are pets allowed?
For the comfort and safety of all guests, only trained service animals are permitted in the restaurant.

What is your cancellation policy?
For parties of five or fewer, there is no cancellation fee. We simply ask that you notify us in advance so the space may be offered to other guests. For parties of six or more, a credit card hold is required at the time of booking. While there is no fee for cancellations with notice, a $50 per person charge will be applied if a larger reservation is canceled without prior notice.

What is the 4% surcharge?
As a way to offset rising costs associated with the restaurant (food, beverage, labor, benefits, supplies), we have added a 4% surcharge to all checks. We do this in lieu of increased menu prices. You may request to have this taken off your check, should you choose.
